Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use amnord.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, a magnifier or a phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we have done

• The text and background colours were checked for the contrast WCAG level AA asks for.
• Everything works without JavaScript, and the website has none.
• You can use every page with a keyboard alone, including the menu. The part of the page you are on is clearly outlined.
• Pages have one main heading, headings in order, and landmarks, and there is a “Skip to content” link.
• Pages adapt from small phones to wide screens.
• Purely decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers, and meaning is never carried by colour alone.
• Links say where they go.

What we have not done yet

We have checked the website ourselves with automated and manual checks. It has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, and we have not tested it with every combination of browser and assistive technology. We do not claim full conformance with WCAG.

If you cannot use part of this website, or you need information in another format, write to hello@amnord.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, and tell us the page and what went wrong. We answer within 30 days and will fix the problem or give you the information another way.
